Converting OperatorFirst shiftPosition Summary:The Converting Operator is responsible for producing pre-curled jacketing by loading plastic into tubes, supporting team members as needed, and organizing rolls for production. This role also includes essential tasks for maintaining quality and order in the department.Essential Accountabilities:ProductivitySequence rolls to ensure timely machine loading.Unload parts from the oven to fill orders accurately.Load parts onto the machine.Use basic math to count and organize parts for orders.Follow a written production schedule.Palletize completed orders for shipment.Maintain accurate roll inventory.Operational TasksOperate a roll sheeter to cut parts.Use a printer to label parts as they are cut.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Convert large bulk rolls into smaller rolls.Adhere to quality standards to ensure product integrity.Perform additional duties and assignments as required. Qualifications:Education/CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Forklift license preferred.Experience1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or converting environment. #talroosouthwest#INDSW
