Job Description:

Essential Functions:Supervise and lead teams through direct observation.Plan, schedule, and maintain operations in compliance with GMP, USDA, and FDA standards.Adhere to the master cleaning schedule and validate cleaning processes through direct observations.Ensure the plant is cleaned according to a rotating 7-day schedule.Assign tasks to staff, supervise work areas, and support management as needed.Oversee plant security at the end of each workday.Provide training on cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.Manage spill kit containment and equipment safety training.Facilitate shift handoffs with QA and production supervisors.Ensure compliance with USDA pre-operational sanitation requirements.Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Prior supervisory experience is required.Experience in food processing facilities is essential.Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Prior sanitation or janitorial experience.Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, foaming equipment, and pressure washers.Knowledge of OSHA, GMPs, food safety, and HACCP programs.Understanding of USDA and FDA requirements, as well as relevant regulations for health, safety, and environmental compliance.Physical Demands:Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.Exposure to a variety of physical conditions including food debris, odors, equipment noise, and temperature extremes.#INDTP2
